Cleanliness drive by NSS Volunteers of Pithubar College,Khowang, under Mr Durlov Bharali,Programme Officer of the Unit at Haldhibari Nagar Than, a historical place of Khowang.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Student Union of Pithubar College, Khowang celebrated Chatra Divas on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Student Leader and activist Bodofa Upendranath Brahma.

On 13/05/2025 The IQAC, NSS and Women Cell of Pithubar College observed the Day against superstitious beliefs at Baghtolipather Gaon.On this occasion an awareness programme was organised on : Role of Women against Superstitious Beliefs and Scientific Outlook.

The Department of Sociology,IQAC and ICC of Pithubar College observed the World Menstrual Hygiene Day in the presence of the girl students of the College.Dr Ghanashyam Sonowal, Medical Officer of Khowang BPHC ,Ranu Saikia,AFHC Counsellor of Moran Tiloi, CHC and Bharat Gogoi, Vaccinator, Khowang BPHC were present as resource persons.On this day sanitary napkins were distributed among the girls.

Mr Birinchi Chetia, Assistant Professor of the Department of Political Science of Pithubar College donated some text books and reference books to the College Library on 13.03.2025.The Principal ,Dr Suravi Gohain Duwarah on behalf of the College family extended heartfelt gratitude for his concern to the College and the Students.

Celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 at adopted village of NSS unit Baghtoli Pathar Gaon, Khowang. The day was celebrated at auditorium of Baghtoli Pathar Village organised by Women Cell, IQAC, EOC and NSS unit of Pithubar College in collaboration with Navagata Gramya Sangathan. Mrs. Tutumoni Chutia, Asst. Professor of Education, Pithubar College spoke about the significance of the day.Resource Person: Dr. Ghanashyam Sonowal, a medical and health officer from Khowang Primary Health Centre, discussed about the health concerns of women. A few elderly women of the area were felicitated in the programme.
